What is Gold Vermeil?
Gold vermeil is a high quality kind of gold-plated jewelry that uses 100% Sterling Silver as base with a layer of at least 10 karat gold and thickness of at least 2.5 microns. AVIA uses high quality materials and 5 microns of 18K gold for all our Gold Vermeil pieces.

Is Gold Vermeil Pawnable?
No, Gold/Platinum Vermeil is not pawnable. While we use thick 18K Gold plating for our Vermeil pieces and it’s more durable than regular gold plating, it won’t be accepted in pawnshops.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Our Gold Vermeil pieces have a thick layer of 18K Gold that make them tarnish resistant but all precious metals may tarnish overtime, even solid gold. To keep your jewelry at its best, we recommend following our care instructions.
Gold Vermeil pieces should be properly stored in the AVIA pouch when not in use. Do not keep them in the packaging box for a long period of time or leave them in humid areas. Avoid contact with moisture and liquids and do not wear them in the shower, pool or ocean. Remove them before any heavy physical activity or house chores.

How do I clean my jewelry?
To clean your gold vermeil pieces you may use lukewarm water and a mild liquid soap if needed. Our advice to do this is to dip a cloth in soap water and gently wipe your vermeil pieces and rinse it with another cloth dipped in plain water and carefully dry it afterward.
You can always gently buff your pieces with polishing cloth that comes with your order to keep or restore their natural shine.

Does my jewelry come with Warranty?
Our pieces are carefully crafted with high quality craftsmanship but if you have any concerns or issues with your piece upon reception we offer 7 days returns and exchanges subject to terms and conditions of our return policy. Send us an email at hello@aviafinejewelry.com

How to Order?

When will I receive my order?
All our products are made-to-order for our clients except if on hand. Our crafting lead time is 15-20 business days upon order is placed. We will message you once production is finished and you will be notified via email once your order is shipped. Expected delivery is between 1-3 days for Domestic Orders and 7 to 14 business days for International Orders.
Can I make changes to my order?
Email or contact us immediately via our social media accounts for any modifications to your order and we will check and confirm if production hasn’t started yet and we can still accept changes.
